Jim Worthing
Jim Worthing was born and raised in Wharton, Texas. After graduating in 1974 from Baylor University, he returned to Wharton to join his father as a partner in Worthing Insurance Agency. His father passed away in 1982, and Jim continued to operate the agency until a merger of several companies formed InsuranceNet, Inc. in 2001. He is a past president of the Wharton Lions Club, past chairman of the Hartfords’s Jonathan Turmbull Council, and a former director of the Wharton Industrial Foundation. He is licensed in Property and Casualty, Life and Health and is also a licensed Accredited Risk Manager.
His daughter, Ashley, is a Financial Analyst with BG Holdings. His son, Bart, is a mortgage broker with Old Interfirst Mortgage Company.
